Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center Surgery Expansion

ODELL was selected by Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center to develop an expansion building located on the Hospital Campus in Woodbridge, Virginia. The building is located at the south western edge of the existing Hospital building, adjacent to the Emergency Department expansion building. The building is a 3 story above grade masonry and glass building, with the structure possibly designed for additional floors in the future.  The building relocates the Hospital’s central sterile processing, 10 ORs, PACU, pre/post and supportive services.  A 3rd floor was included and shelled for future expansion.
