Liberty University Arena

A brand new 4,000 seat state-of-the-art arena for the Liberty University Basketball and Volleyball programs. The new Arena is adjacent to the existing Arena, which allows the two facilities to share resources and facilities and hold concurrent events such as convocations and concerts. The building provides a smaller seating capacity to allow the university to enhance game-day experience for smaller events and be used as a recruiting tool for student-athletes. A full rigging grid and catwalk system allows full event and concert use as required. Telescopic seating allows for basketball and volleyball practices to take place on the same floor. Two separate entry lobbies for the public and students allow ticketing and security functions to happen undercover. The exterior design of the building provides a new aesthetic while also fitting into the campus design. This is a much-needed upgrade to Liberty University from their current 1970’s Arena.
