Caromont Regional Medical Center Emergency Department Addition and Renovation

The expansion and renovation of the CRMC Emergency Department, which serves an average of nearly 100,000 patients a year, is designed to enhance patient experience, expedite patient flow and provide state-of-the-art emergency services. New features supporting improved operations include: expanded patient intake / private triage rooms, flexible patient exam rooms for express care, dedicated pediatrics unit, dedicated behavioral suite, relocation of imaging services to better serve the Emergency Department, enhanced decontamination areas, a new helipad, and an ambulance bay for four vehicles.
