We are excited to announce our four newest team members – Michael Baujan, Holly Lassiter, Andrew McVeigh and Allison Shockley.

 

Michael Baujan

Michael comes to ODELL’s Charlotte office with over 10 years of experience in design and construction.  He believes design opportunities can be found at every scale in a project and is always seeking to elevate each project.  His experience ranges from office design, mixed-use & retail, and planning.  Born and raised in Miami Florida, Michael received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Florida and his Masters from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  Michael enjoys art, traveling and practicing yoga. 

 

Holly Lassiter

Holly joined ODELL’s Richmond office in mid-August as an interior designer with over three years experience in corporate design. Holly has a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from Virginia Tech. Prior to starting at ODELL, Holly worked for GTM Architects in Bethesda, MD in the Commercial Interiors studio.

 

Andrew McVeigh

Andrew McVeigh joined ODELL’s Richmond office in August as a soon-to-be architect. Andrew holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America. Born and raised in Chicago, he migrated to Richmond in 2014 to accept a job at Baskervill, where he learned the basics of hospitality design and corporate. With exams out of the way, Andrew hopes to wrap up his required AXP hours and begin stamping drawings by Summer 2018. He generally cycles to work each morning and when he is not in the office he is probably building a fence somewhere.  

 

Allison Shockley

Allison Shockley joined ODELL’s Charlotte office at the end of August as a Project Architect bringing over 5 years experience in Civic, K-12, Hospitality and Healthcare design.  Allison has a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelors of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland.  She worked previously for Bergmann Associates in Charlotte, NC and Becker Morgan Group located in Salisbury, MD.  Originally from Ocean City, MD, Allison served on the Board of Directors for their local Habitat for Humanity chapter.   She is currently participating in AIA Charlotte’s YAF Leadership program and is the project architect for the Bojangles’ Coliseum-Auditorium Link Connector Facility.
