Located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, this facility is the "corporate headquarters" for the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), responsible for overseeing the more than 25,000 members under its command.
The Project is comprised of three components: Command and Control Building; Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC) Building; and Yadkin Road Expansion.
The Command and Control Building is a three-story plus basement office building of 157,254 square feet of space. The form of the building is a clear expression of the program: two blocks of flexible office space linked by a linear lobby which functions as an interior "street" for 800 employees.
The flexible office spaces are efficiently organized around the fixed program elements including:
• 155-seat Auditorium
• Command Group suites and conference rooms
• Computer rooms; vaults; postal distribution and other secure work
spaces.
Specialty areas in the building include:
• Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
• Administration areas
• Mission specific training and development areas
