The initial phase included a master plan study of the existing campus and educational program to understand how to best use existing facilities while planning for projected future growth with new and expanded facilities. The initial phase outlined the following project goals; 1) Develop a Master Plan to direct future development on campus, 2) Develop a Campus Focus to; Define a sense of place, Create an outdoor gathering space, Add character to the overall campus, 3) Encourage development of Common Features to draw campus together and help reinforce pedestrian scale, and 4) Establish General Development Parameters for the addition for the next phase of expansion. The project report included site studies and analysis, program information, campus building recommendations and options for accommodating new growth.
