Comprised of a total of 57,000 GSF, this project has resulted in a more functional facility that better serves the travelling public, the airlines, the concessionaires/tenants, and the airport staff. Likewise, the expressed image is much more indicative of the natural beauty of the surrounding Idaho countryside.
The scope of the project resulted in an increase in space of the following areas: ticketing, concession/tenant areas, upper and lower holdroom zones, administration and main lobby. The ticketing lobby and security checkpoints were also modified to accommodate TSA requirements. Concession spaces were positioned in the heart of the facility “straddling” the secure line. These were designed to operate from either side with minor modifications for ultimate flexibility.
