The Greenville Hospital System Children’s Hospital is a fully-integrated hospital that includes specialized divisions according to age and intensity of treatment. Built in conjunction with the Phase 5 Heart Institute, the Children’s Hospital features express elevator service from the hospital’s main floor, 3 children’s activity areas, plus a classroom operated by the Greenville school system.
Each patient room includes an adjacent nurse charting station and generous space for parents to stay overnight in the room with their child. The fifth floor features a 55,000 gallon freshwater aquarium that sets off the entire interior theme for the facility.
