The Hualapai Indian Reservation consists of 1,000,000 acres of land in Arizona, with its northern boundary defined by the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.
Recognized for its tremendous tourist potential, this land is being master planned as an Eco-resort, with the terminal complex the first phase in the process. This terminal is planned to functionally resolve the unique challenges of the multitude of airplanes, helicopters and buses convening in one location, as well as “tell the story” of the Hualapai Nation to visitors. Likewise, the remoteness of the area, and its high desert location dictates an extremely sensitive energy conscious design.
