In the fast-paced world of design, communication is the key to survival, and we ensure those lines remain open by living in an open door environment at every level of operation, including the President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board. We also hold monthly office-wide meetings to get a status of the firm from the management team and have an open forum to discuss any issues that are currently impacting our teams.
Our office environments offer a relaxed, studio atmosphere with great views of the skyline, lots of natural light and an open office environment. We recognize that the best solutions come from a team effort, so our firm is organized into teams, which are carefully chosen based on the project requirements. This approach allows us to utilize the unique skills and talents of our associates, provide exposure to every facet of design for each team member, provides a rich and collaborative environment, and ensures all team members have input on the project.
Outside of the work environment, Odell coordinates both adult-only and family-friendly events to help foster a family environment and encourage team camaraderie. Typically, there is one major event per quarter and each year usually concludes with a holiday party. Some events held in the past include themed parties, whitewater rafting trips, amusement park visits, ski resort trips, golf outings, and professional and collegiate sporting events. Some of these events include our clients and consultants to help spread our culture to the people we work closest with. We also sponsor teams and participate in local athletic leagues and competitions including bowling, volleyball, and softball.
