As directed by CPCC, the Master Plan investigation considered the following:
• The best use of the acreage at the North Campus.
• The buildable areas of the campus.
• Emerging industries in the area.
• Current, as well as projected demographic data for the relevant geographic area.
• Future job opportunities in the area.
• Space utilization of current programs and functions at the North Campus and projections of future space requirements through 2020 in conjunction with the North Campus Master Planning Committee.
• Vision for the North Campus, based on meetings with community leaders (business, residential, and institutional).
• Short and long-term capital expenditure program and schedule required to complete the vision for the North Campus.
• Incorporation of anticipated Full-Time Equivalent Student requirements into an architectural site plan with building square footages and parking requirements.
