Situated in a wooded setting, the St. Francis Cancer Center extends the healing environment into the chapel garden, motor court, walking trails, and meditative gardens surrounding the new St. Francis Medical Center Replacement Hospital campus in Midlothian, Virginia.
The Cancer Center is another healthcare destination along the country roadway through a wooded glen leading to the St. Francis Hospital.
The Cancer Center is comprised of 55,000 square feet in a two-story design on 5.5 acres. Features of the site and building design include an infusion therapy garden and contemplative pool linked by a pedestrian bridge across the pool, pedestrian walkways, canopied with pergolas and landscaped plant material.
The building includes outpatient treatment spaces operated by the Hospital System oncology staff, plus a full floor of physician office space for private care companies.
